I currently work in a secondary school with key stage 3 and 4 students, running interventions and classroom management. I am starting a degree in September and I am looking for part time work preferably in beauty as this is the industry I initially worked in. I have a level 3 diploma in make-up and holistic therapies which assists with general knowledge for skincare and skills for make-up application.
I work exceedingly well both independently and as part of a team and would represent a brand I feel passionate about with drive and enthusiasm to sell the products to all customers. I am confident, approachable and would not offer anything less than a kind, helpful and friendly service.
I have worked in various professional fields ranging from beauty and retail working for Benefit cosmetics in house of Fraser, account manager for Max Factor proctor and gamble in Boots. I have worked as cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic Airways doing long haul flights. I have worked for the NHS as a medical administrator and currently working in education as a behaviour mentor.
These industries have provided me with a wealth of experience of dealing with all types of people and ages. I have worked different hours and have been flexible with my work schedule as work is a priority and I do not have personal commitments like children to tend to. I am extremely driven and motivated to complete a task or hit targets and take pride in the service I provide to the public.
Although each role I have had is very different they each share common factors that require the same skills, such as, social skills to approach people and lead an interaction calmly and professionally, reason and understanding of each individuals personal wants and needs and how I in my role can best contribute to that.
I have the following qualifications in education:
GCSE’s (English, Maths, Science, Business, Physical education, Art, Drama, Religious education)
Access to higher education diploma in Psychology (equivalent of 3 a levels)
Level 3 diploma in Make-up and Beauty and Holistic Therapies
