Having developed an interest in complex pain presentations this enabled him to work as a senior therapist over a three-year period within residential and community-based settings offering specialist chronic pain management through behavioural change approaches encompassing CBT and mindfulness models. This varied clinical experience has enabled him to provide therapeutic support for both individuals and groups of people living with a range of modern-day health conditions and lifestyle needs whilst giving him a clear understanding of the importance of addressing health holistically to build confidence & resilience to maximise individual potential.
He is accredited to lead Breathworks Mindfulness for health and stress courses and is qualified in the foundations of eco-psychology and nature-based practice. With a passion for the therapeutic benefits of the natural world, having grown up on a farm, he works as a nature-based facilitator delivering training and wellbeing workshops for people wanting to connect with nature on a deeper level.
In his youngers days he has previously enjoyed playing team sports but now enjoys keeping healthy through cycling, swimming and walking.
