Excellent financial acumen with full responsibility for P&L and budget, delivery, expansion and development of the project business for small to large scale projects. Currently reporting into an Operations Director and other key stakeholders within the SLT. Seeking to further their career within a new organisation to drive and motivate a productive project team, and to be part of that business’s long-term growth.
§ Providing leadership, management, and development of project opportunities to a team of project managers and admin staff.
§ Self-motivated, very enthusiastic, and capable of working on my own and using own initiative.
§ Able to prioritise workload, work under different types of pressure and continuously manage and deliver change
§ Flexibility and adaptability in changing business environments
§ Implementing and ensuring that the company policies, processes and procedures are adhered to throughout the project business.
§ Managing, communicating and mitigating any foreseeable risks which may cause financial, operational, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise on each and every project.
§ Providing month end financial and sales reports to the Managing Director, Finance team and other members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
§ Operating within the business unit SLT, attending business unit reviews and SLT meetings.
§ Creating new sales opportunities with both new and existing clients.
§ Overseeing and communicating with the projects operations team, delivering projects from concept design stage through to practical completion, with clear objectives being provided to all staff.
§ Experience in working to various type of formal contracts, such as JCT & NEC.
§ Types of projects undertaken include: M&E, HVAC, Fabric, fit out and refurbishments, builders works, civils, and lifecycle upgrades.
§ Responsible for promotional data, including brochures, presentations and case studies.
§ 4 year multi disciplined apprenticeship (Haden Building Management)
