Has experience looking after children from new born to age 19. Has looked after and supported social and health development for family members e.g. take to social trips, be there in the middle of the night for my numerous siblings, who are also starting to bring up children themselves who I help. I feed, take children for walks, read to them, play games, and sing to them, I keep them occupied with activities and craft activities such as painting, plasticine and jigsaws, and walk dogs with the children.
At Brownies Volunteer Placement: I help facilitate activities based on themes, e.g. space, set up and tidy away, been a virtual leader throughout covid. I also used to be a part of a Drama Group for Looked After children, with Chat Back Productions where I was a Youth Leader. With this experience and passion and energy for working with children I would like to now develop a career in childcare, as I have a creative and caring manner and can bring this to this role.
