• Abstract: The purpose of the research work is to find whether metacognitive training will have any positive effect on a part of our cognitive processing called “Executive Function (EF)”. For this purpose, a group of English-speaking (native or equivalent proficiency) and working age (18-65) people are recruited to participate in the in the six-week online test and training (it takes 30 minutes per week at maximum). Participants are expected not to have been diagnosed as neurodivergent so that researchers were able to exclude any potential distractors to the variables of this study.

  The results suggest that part of the training intervention designed for this experiment has significantly improved the EF abilities in the metacognitive training group.
