- Efforts have been made, ensuring social support, to make the school into the complete smart school in the state of Kerala, way back in 2013.
- Taking up the role of ‘the first among equals’, all the teachers of the school have been equipped pedagogically and technically, to devise and develop Digital Learning Modules to be administered in the smart classrooms.
- An android mobile app, named Know My Child, has been developed to ensure that the learning level of each child on each school day is shared personally to the respective parent. For this, each learning outcome, set forth by the curriculum is graded and fragmented so that the exact level of each child in respect of the learning outcome taken up is determined qualitatively and shared with the respective parent.
- Initiative has been successfully made and accomplished to set up biometric attendance system in the school for both students and the staff. Thus, our school has become the first one in the state to set up such a system.
- The whole programme in the campus and the classrooms are telecast 24X7 LIVE to the parents to ensure transparency, Parents can watch the school processes ‘live’ all the time, and this has brought a great impact on teachers to deliver the best of them in the classrooms and to be imitable models in the campus.
- An android mobile app named NAVAPRABHA has been developed for RMSA to administer the daily academic achievement of each learner enrolled in a remedial intervention programme. There have been slots to render 24X7 support by the subject experts and the educational officers. The application ensured central monitoring by the state office of RMSA to bring the best possible results in the programme.
- A software has been developed for RMSA to conduct an online aptitude test for the students of Standard 9 in all the schools in the state. The test was successfully administered and 73 students of high aptitude levels in five different areas could be selected for a National Exposure programme for which this applicant himself was the coordinator of the project.
- An android mobile app has been developed and launched for State Institute of
Educational Technology (SIET Kerala) to cater educational resources in English and
Social Science for the students of Std.10 in the State of Kerala.
- Short films to put across values are made during every academic year, with the students and the teachers turn to be actors. The most appreciated short film of which the actors were students of standard one had the message of togetherness and compassion.
- Has contributed creatively for the preparation of training modules for the programme ‘OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHILDREN’, an ongoing project jointly ventured by the Department of Social Justice, Department of General Education, Home
Department and the Department of Health.
- Has contributed creatively for the preparation of training modules for Headmasters’
training across the state. This was a programme taken up by SCERT Kerala.
- Has been active in programmes of NCERT, New Delhi as Master Trainer in the programme of Art Integrated Learning, a mission of Department of Art and Aesthetics.
- Has been selected as Master Trainer from Kerala for National Population Education
Project of NCERT New Delhi.
- Has contributed creatively for the preparation of training modules for the programme STUDENT POLICE CORPS’ an ongoing project jointly ventured by the
Department of General Education, Kerala.
- Has contributed for the preparation of training manuals for various focus groups of the Department of Women and Child Welfare, Government of Kerala.
