- Provide research support services for legislators and legislative staff that have contributed to the development of legislation and amendments
- Collaborate with legislative staff to draft letters on behalf of senators to the heads of various government agencies
- Draft bill comments for legislators, providing digestible summaries and comprehensive policy analysis for dozens of bills pending in the Legislature
- Write policy memos to inform legislative actions, predominantly focusing on issues related to transportation, housing, and the environment
- Attend and help prepare for voting sessions, committee meetings, and Democratic caucuses.
