I am a qualified engineer with a degree in Mechatronics engineering from the Higher Technological Institute of Guanajuato. I currently work as a general supervisor in the Telemetry and Automation department of the Municipal Drinking Water and Sewage System of Guanajuato (SIMAPAG).
1.I automate the monitoring of electrical and hydraulic parameters of the points of interest, using the Modbus RTU communication protocol with its RS485 and RS232 interfaces to read records from flow meters, electrical meters and frequency converters.
2.I address failures in the control of components such as solenoid valves, variable frequency drives (VFD), reduced voltage starters (ATR) and JR900 ethernet radios.
3.I am dedicated to the automation of Remote Terminal Units (RTU's) located in both wells and tanks by programming Schneider brand PLCsmodel SCADAPack 350, 334, 357 and 100.
4.I install electrical ductwork for the insulation and protection of electrical wiring.
5.I program mimics in GeoSCADA Expert software for remote control and monitoring of tanks and wells.
6.I perform flow and velocity measurements on well and tank lines using Panametrics TransPort PT900 ultrasonic meters.
7.Participate in the installation and programming of SITRANS LH 100 model level sensors and SIEMENS model 7MF1565-3CA00 pressure sensors, as well as intrusion sensors through digital inputs of Schneider Electric SCADAPack series PLCs.
8.I perform maintenance on solenoid valves and diaphragm valves.
