About

Six-plus years of telemarketing, sales, and customer support, mostly on the phone, mostly with people who didn't know they'd be talking to me that day. I've cold-called distributors and hotels for a food manufacturer in Australia, negotiated freight contracts for a logistics company, and fielded guest complaints at a small hospitality business — three very different rooms, but the same job underneath: get someone's attention, understand what they actually need, and follow through until it's handled. I keep CRM records clean without being told to, and I don't let a lead or a request sit untouched.

What I bring depends on the role, but it's usually some combination of cold outreach, consultative selling, client coordination, and just staying on top of things.

Experience

Telemarketing Officer at Arnott's Group (2025-02 – 2026-08)

  • Cold-called distributors, wholesalers, retailers, schools, hotels, and corporate clients across Australia, opening conversations without a rigid script and presenting product offers in a way that fit each account.
  • Logged every call, order, and follow-up in CRM as it happened, not after the fact — the pipeline stayed accurate because I didn't let it fall behind.
  • Coordinated directly with the sales team on order processing and fulfillment, catching issues before they turned into customer complaints.
  • Worked independently across a broad client base, prioritizing which accounts needed attention that day without waiting to be told.

Sales Representative at KSP Shipping and Logistics Ltd (2022-02 – 2025-01)

  • Owned the full sales cycle for a book of client accounts — prospecting, understanding shipping needs, quoting, and negotiating contracts to close.
  • Took a consultative approach rather than a scripted one; two clients asking about rates to the same destination often needed completely different solutions and figuring that out before quoting mattered.
  • Keeping client and shipment records accurate and current, which made follow-up easier and helped turn one-off clients into repeat business.
  • Handled negotiation and objections directly, without needing to escalate, and stayed on a deal until it was signed or clearly dead.

Customer Support Officer at Silverhill Guesthouse (2020-06 – 2022-01)

  • Handled guest communication across phone and email — bookings, questions, complaints — and kept a level tone even when the guest didn't.
  • Maintained guest profiles, payment details, and booking records in CRM and reservation systems, so nothing had to be re-explained on a callback.
  • Followed up with guests before, during, and after their stay, catching problems early instead of waiting for a bad review.
