Senior Executive – Procurement & Supply Chain at Universal Brushwares (Pvt) Ltd (2021-10 – Present)
Manage procurement and import operations for a manufacturing facility, owning supplier sourcing through payment.
- Manage the complete Procure-to-Pay cycle — from purchase requisition to final payment — using Odoo ERP (with working exposure to SAP MM), processing purchase orders to active suppliers.
- Source and import raw materials, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers to keep production supply uninterrupted.
- Handle local procurement of direct materials (raw and packing materials) and indirect materials (general plant/MRO supplies) from domestic vendors, including sourcing and managing packing material suppliers for production and dispatch needs.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers, building long-term vendor relationships that support consistent material availability and cost control.
- Maintain complete import documentation (invoices, packing lists, customs declarations), ensuring audit-ready records and smooth customs clearance.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers through trade publications, online research, and trade shows.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with production planning and inventory needs.
