Having recently moved to Portugal, I am excited to be exploring new remote work opportunities. I am a resident here and therefore do not require sponsorship to work in Europe.
I offer a diverse range of experience: Customer Success, Operations and Academic Support in the EdTech space for an Online High School and as a Biokineticist (Clinical Exercise Specialist, certified Massage Therapist, Youth Exercise Specialist and Group Fitness Instructor). I have owned my own exercise-based rehabilitation practice, as well as managed and run practices prior to that. I am eager to continue my professional development and feel I would make a valuable contribution in any of these fields.
My professional career began as a Biokineticist, with an undergraduate BSc Psychology and Human Kinetics and Ergonomics and BA (Honours) Human Movement Sciences: Biokinetics. After completing my internship, I managed and ran a few diverse practices (in schools, gyms and private rehabilitation and medical centers), managed a team of professionals in a boutique Lifestyle Centre and Gym facility and owned my own exercise-based rehabilitation practice for three years thereafter. This was alongside coaching childhood fundamental movement skills, personal training and sports massage.
I have since enjoyed progressing through various roles within the EdTech space and have learned many valuable skills. My areas of expertise in this space are customer success, operations, socio-emotional support, academic support, start-up culture and client retention. It has been a fast-paced environment, where adapting to change quickly has been vital.
I have become accustomed to using many platforms daily, for example, the full Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Looker, Intercom, Asana, HappyFox, Aircall, Moodle, Microsoft Office and 3CX. I have also completed many additional courses while in this role, which I feel may benefit me in future.
I am a self-driven hard worker, a dedicated employee, a strong team player and am eager to continue developing my knowledge and expertise.
