I have 14 years of experience in training and development including policy implementation.
NParks is a CETC running WSQ programmes. Besides developing WSQ programs to ensure alig with the latest Framework, I also worked with partners such as MOM and NTUC to ensure worker retention in the landscape industry by implementing various policies.
In NEA, as an Executive Manager (Curriculum Design & Development) my scope is:
- Develop the Job Competency Matrix for all NEA Ops Officers and curate programmes for the identified gaps.
- Coordinate and implement changes for NEA and LEAP Milestone Programmes.
- Review the programmes for Milestone Programs and submit suggestions to improve the content framework.
- Review program evaluation with trainers individually and propose improvements for before next session.
- Co-facilitate NEXT programme in FY2015
- Coordinate, review and implement changes to NEA Foundation Programme (11 Modules) to increase the competency of NEA officers.
- Coordinate and review Foundational Modules through curriculum reviews with Module developers and trainers. The review of FM contents will be completed by April 2015.
- Work with BDA to look at assessment results output in order to keep within the timeline of 2 weeks after FM and improve the passing rate.
- Design and Development of in-house e-learning packages to complement classroom training, to provide JIT learning, to better engage leaners in their retention and comprehension of the topics.
- Review FMs by designing, developing and deployment of e-learning initiatives and solutions where possible.
- Implement the Trainers Engagement and Development Plans.
- Perform the initiatives proposed under Practitioners’ Network, Trainers’ Connect and Trainers’ Portal.
- Conduct 1 Trainers’ Connect in FY15.
- Evaluate course feedback and proposes improvements on course delivery and preparations
