A. Victoria Shaw

Hello. My name is A. Victoria Shaw. I have been a certified medical assistant for over 6 years with experience in out patient and in patient care as well as a variety of multi-speciality for internal and pediatric medicine.

I am skilled in administrative, clinical, and laboratory tasks, as well as being able to work with a variety of medical providers in a fast paced environment.

For the past 6 years I have worked in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, infectious disease, endocrinology, as well as inpatient care during the COVID- 19 pandemic as a telehealth presenter. And recently, I am working in pediatric multi-specialty.

I went to Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC and receiving a associate degree in medical assistant.

I have also been active within the AAMA and stay up-to-date with relevant changes for medical assistants through CEUs.

I received a certificate as a Certified Medical Assistant Mentor at Atrium Health in North Carolina to be able to be a lead CMA and mentor to new hires.
