Ramp Agent
- Running/coordinating outbound operation international flights destined to CDG (Paris), STN (London), as well as domestic flights to Boston, Seattle, Miami, and Dallas.
- Running/coordinating outbound operation truck routes to various cities within the US including, Detroit, Charlotte, Atlanta, and St. Louis.
- Loaded ULD’s (aircraft containers) per ULD guidelines.
- Accurately record information such as ULD closeout weights for aircraft CG, International rollover paperwork.
- Work with a sense of urgency to ensure all freight gets out to aircraft on time to have aircraft push on time.
- Directing others to areas where most help is needed whether it be freight checking/scanning, or driving ULD’s to correct aircraft gate.
- Keep track of how many positions can be used on aircraft after taking bypass, rollover, and heavyweight into consideration.
- Coordinate with drivers on swap out containers to ensure checkers have ULD’s to scan freight into.
- Typing flights via program to make sure CG of aircraft is within parameters to fly.
- Verifying flight with pilots for departure.
Equipment Qualifications
Tug- GSE
Certified to operate a tug to haul containers to different destinations around the hub.
Combined GSE
Certified to operate and mate Commander 15 (aircraft belly loader) and Commander 30 (aircraft topside loader) to aircraft.
Certified to operate aircraft belt loaders for bulk compartments.
Certified to load different aircraft which include: Boeing 757, Boeing 767, Airbus A300, McDonnell Douglas MD-10, McDonnell Douglas MD-11.
