Alexander Desharnais

I am a a rising 2l JD candidate at Suffolk University Law School. In the future I hope to practice law relating to property, business, or the enviorment.

Through the past several years I have had two major positions that have built a foundation for my future career. During the junior year of my undergraduate degree I was a legal intern at Diller Law P.C. where I assisted a team of five attorneys with the operation of the firm. Some of my responsibilities included editing documents, including interrogatories; filling out insurance related documentation on clients’ behalf, updating contact information and financial records, maintaining client files both electronically and physically and assisting with administrative tasks including scheduling, scanning, office correspondence, and check deposits.

Another recent position that I have engaged in is as a salesman at Target where I have forged strong customer service and organizational skills.

Presently I am a JD candidate at Suffolk University Law School entering my second year of law school. While attending Suffolk I have created a strong foundation of legal knowledge through classes like Contracts, Property, and Torts. My legal writing and research skills have also been put to use through various assignments across my first year’s coursework. Additionally I am a member of the Environmental Law Society at Suffolk.
