As the Director of Resources at the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, Angel has played a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing workflows, and aligning technology with strategic goals. Her leadership in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and system upgrades, as well as her focus on talent acquisition, performance management, and donor engagement, has significantly advanced the Foundation’s mission to support the families of fallen and wounded military personnel.

Angel excels in developing and executing donor strategies, having successfully managed major donor campaigns and exceeding fundraising revenue targets. Her ability to cultivate strong, long-term relationships with donors has strengthened the Foundation’s support base and increased donor retention. In addition, her expertise in HR management, from recruitment to professional development, has helped build cohesive teams that are aligned with the organization’s values and objectives.

With a broad range of experience in nonprofit operations, Angel is skilled in cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization. Her previous roles—spanning from Annual Fund Manager to Executive Assistant to the President and CEO—further underscore her leadership ability, with a focus on strategic initiatives, stakeholder relations, and operational excellence.

Angel holds a PhD in Management of Engineering and Technology, an MBA in Healthcare Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration.
