Upper-division study began with an intensive two-part course that married linear algebra, manifolds, topology, and vector calculus to explain differential forms, Markov Chains, Spectral Theory, Mechanics, and Stoke’s Theorem. This allowed sufficient rigor to tackle classes in Differential Geometry, Abstract Algebra I/II, Mathematics of Climate Change, Real Analysis, & ODEs.
Groups/Algebras, and studied the effects of Coccolithophore off-gassing using Lotka-Volterra models (created with a Jupyter Notebooks & Python backbone) in research papers for these courses.

This joint program with the Sotheby’s Institute of Art taught connoisseurship & valuation of Old Masters, Modern Art, Chinese/Italian Ceramics, & Continental Furniture. Used an object-based, empirical, and analytical approach to determine the authenticity of art works based on construction, materials, technique, & provenance. This dovetailed with a strict analysis of historical trends surrounding objects.
The research for the Master’s dissertation was conducted at the National Art Library & the British Library’s Rare Books & Manuscripts Department.

Specialized in art and architecture from the 14th- 17th centuries, focusing on Italian Mannerist and Early Baroque Art and Architecture. This complemented a tenure working for the Georgia Museum of Art, where I gained considerable knowledge about the full scope of operations and management of one of the major museums of the Southeast.
Literature degree allowed for further specialization in European Renaissance and Baroque continental literature to complement the degree in Art History and aid in effectively researching difficult topics by increasing access to source material.
