Brooke Whitney

I graduated with my Bachelors in Liberal Arts and Science; Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration from Iowa State University. I have 5+ years of experience in design-related work, and I am highly proficient in illustration (both digital and traditional) Primarily scientific concepts, that are typically regarding a biological or medical nature. I have 3+ years of experience related to freelancing, client-work, and personal commissions.

I am in search of career building positions related to illustration, design, art etc. I have added a few jobs to my resume over the past few years that are related to my career field, such as custom art framing, logo/theme design, entomology research, and interned at an art gallery. I am currently a technical illustrator for Vermeer.

I have been working at Vermeer as a technical illustrator for over a year now. Prior to that position, I was employed by American Hosta Society to develop the logo/theme design for the 2023 AHS event held in Ames, Iowa.
