I'm 32 years old and have been working with the public since I was 13 thanks to my parents owning a family photography business.
I now work on retail, having started as a food lion cashier in 2015 and quickly worked my way through promotions to Customer Service Manager. I have great attention to detail, time management, customer relations, cash handling, report management, and many other skills that come from 10 years with the company.
I took a two year break after burnout from COVID and worked at Walmart for a time to try something new, but eventually returned to my old job and I'm back at Food Lion once more as ACSM.
2015 to Present I've work at Food Lion, starting as a cashier and working my way up to Customer Service Manager.
I took a small break to try out Walmart, where I started as a online shopper before becoming team lead, but returned to Food Lion after seeing the management issues that were not being resolved.
Returned to Food Lion as a cashier while waiting on a management opportunity to open up once more. Now I'm Assistant Customer Service Manager at my favorite store location.
Took some college prerequisite courses for 3 semesters before having to drop out due to financial issues. Had a 3.8 GPA and would like to eventually returned to college in the future.
