Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology graduate student and new Communication Sciences and Disorders graduate (B.S., UTRGV) with foundational knowledge in communication sciences and hands-on classroom experience as a substitute teacher. Certified with Avant and awarded the Seal of Biliteracy, fluent in English and Spanish, committed to supporting diverse learners through culturally sensitive communication interventions. Eager to apply developing clinical skills and bilingual expertise to advance in the field as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in varied educational and clinical settings.
I have over three years of experience as a substitute teacher with Los Fresnos CISD, working across grade levels and diverse student populations. In this role, I implemented lesson plans, managed classrooms, and adapted instruction to meet student needs. Alongside this, I recently earned my B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from UTRGV and am now pursuing my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology at Texas Woman’s University.
My background combines hands-on classroom management with foundational knowledge of speech and language development, preparing me to support students as a bilingual SLPA under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in May 2025, which provided me with a strong foundation in speech and language development. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Texas Woman’s University, with a bilingual certificate in progress. I am also Avant STAMP–certified and awarded the Seal of Biliteracy, reflecting my advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish.
