A freelance photographer from Dover, New Jersey based in St. Louis. Pérez discovered his love for photography at age 17 when he started taking photos at family gatherings. A graduate of St. John’s University with a degree in photojournalism, Pérez served as a staff photographer for student lead paper, The Torch.
In the summer of 2019, Pérez interned at Sharp Electronics to work on their 8k video camera project. Pérez also studied abroad in Italy at St John's Rome campus during the fall of 2019. Pérez is a member and co-founder of an artist collective known as Lowland.

Daniel A. Pérez is an experienced professional with a background in various roles. He has worked with Venture for America as both a Fellow and a Lead, where he managed training, community-building, and career support for fellows.
Xchange, he serves as an Operations Manager, overseeing sales processes, marketing initiatives, and brand identity development. Daniel also worked as a Sales Development Representative at Volt Labs Inc., achieving impressive sales outcomes and identifying new market opportunities. In his previous role at Wind of the Spirit Immigrant Resource Center, he was a Community Organizer involved in programs and initiatives benefiting the immigrant community.
