I am currently a Bilingual Family Navigator serving and supporting families that have children/adult children with disabilities. I am that parent support and have been there for the past 3 years.
I previously worked as a preschool teacher at San Joaquin Delta College for 8 years working with children ages 6 weeks up to school age. Then I became a Mom and took a step back from the work world for a few years.
When I returned to work I worked at Don Riggio Elementary in the After School Program for almost the school year of 2015. I stepped away, that was the year we got my sons autism diagnosis and I became a stay at home Mom for the next decade to meet his needs.
