Delaynie De León

I’m a bilingual student from Grand Junction Colorado who enjoys being outside, learning new skills and connecting with people. I’ve gained experience in outdoor education, customer service, and retail which has helped me grow as a communicator and problem solver. I earned my high school diploma and the Seal of Biliteracy at Grand Junction High School, and I’m now attending the University of Northern Colorado to study Environmental Policy.

I’m excited to keep building my experience and explore opportunities where I can make a positive impact.

I’m a bilingual student who speaks English and Spanish and I enjoy working with people and learning new things. I’ve had experience in customer service, retail, and outdoor education. Each job has helped me grow in different ways.

I worked as a Field Instructor Intern at Outdoor Wilderness Lab where I helped teach and guide middle school students in nature. It taught me patience, leadership and how to communicate with all kinds of people. I’ve also worked as a server and as a cashier, which helped me get better at customer service, staying organized and paying attention to detail.

I’m a quick learner who likes to jump in and help wherever I can. I also earned my Seal of Biliteracy, which shows my dedication to speaking and writing in both English and Spanish. I’m excited to explore new opportunities and keep building my skills as I grow.
