I completed my Ph.D. (Plant Pathology) from Oklahoma State University. I have 6 years of food microbiology experience including Ph.D. research on fresh produce contamination with Salmonella. I did my undergrad on agriculture which covered all courses including; entomology, plant pathology, nutrition, horticulture, soil science, botany, farm machinery, agronomy, animal husbandry, crop production, plant breeding, animal nutrition and fodder production, statistics, biochemistry, etc.
