As an undergrad I was a teaching assistant for the University Physics course for two years. I ran a recitation, lab sessions and during summer taught the course. While in graduate school I was a teaching assistant for the Directed Learning Physics Course and also lectured. In 2012 I moved to
Asia and taught English language to first grade and middle school students for one year. I then spent two years teaching high school mathematics in Shanghai. My next position was as Head
Science Teacher for a prestigious middle school also located in Shanghai. I developed the entire program, formulated the curriculum, created lesson plans and taught grades six and seven while leading a team of science teachers. My most recent position has been in Irvine at a small private school as the middle school science teacher and high school physics teacher.
I have had the rare opportunity to work as an elementary, middle school, high school and university teacher and look forward to continuing my career.
I have ten years experience teaching middle school science, math and physics. I have also written a curriculum for middle school science.
I have a bachelor degree from Rutgers University with a triple major in physics, applied math, and philosophy.
