Erica Thornton

I am a Graduate student with the Lamar University seeking an internship position. I would love to start January 2024 through Summer 2024. I recently finished 100 Practicum hours as a Clinical Intern with LG Counseling in Katy, Tx.

I am a School Counselor at Cinco Ranch Junior High during the day. In the Spring and Summer (January- July) I will need an additional 700 hours total. I am available Mondays through Friday 5pm until 9 or 10 and Saturday and Sundays all day.

Most of my experience is with adolescents although I am comfortable with any age group.

I currently hold a 3.9 GPA in my graduate course work. This degree has covered such material as Multicultural Counseling, Abnormal Human Behavior, Counseling theories & techniques, Counseling skills, career development, and group counseling skills.
