Flora Gomez

I’m a college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus of Pre-Allied Health. After my experiences over the past years, I can only see myself continuing education to further my knowledge within scientific studies. Ultimately, I am committed to serving the community with compassion and dedication to the pursuit of justice. I’m dedicated to helping others within the field of forensic science.

I’ve worked in many labs, the most relevant being an intern at the Tidal Forensic Anthropology Services Lab at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi. I have also completed lab work within the university for classes General Chemistry, General Biology, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, and Anatomy and Physiology.

At my current job as a waitress at Saltgrass Steakhouse, I fulfill many detailed tasks under time constraints, communicating effectively with multiple people simultaneously, and successfully complete problem solving. I’ve worked with Saltgrass Steakhouse for nearly 4 years, moving up from Hostess to Takeout Specialist to Server, my position currently.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology Pre-Allied Health in May of 2024 at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. I’ve completed relevant courses such as General Chemistry, General Biology, Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Physics.
