With a passion in supporting the world’s transition to net-zero, I completed the United Nation’s Certificate in Sustainable Finance and BCG Virtual Experience Program on Climate & Sustainability earlier this year. As a junior at Colby College majoring in mathematical sciences (with a concentration in statistics) and minoring in economics, I am equipped with a mix of technical skills and business knowledge that position me well for my career aspiration at the intersection of sustainability and consulting. Over the past few years, I have had the opportunities to gain exposure at various established institutions and publicly listed companies, including Manulife and BlueFocus Communication Group.
Spanning across the fields of research, business analytics, data science, e-commerce marketing, and programming (R and Python), my previous internships allowed me to participate and lead many purpose-driven initiatives that require a strategic mindset, a commitment to continuous learning, and a “can do” attitude.
Notably, my recent summer placement experience at Manulife had provided me with a vantage point with direct access and visibility to seasoned senior executives. As a member of an award winning team, I leveraged my technical and business skillset to provide data-driven insights to decision makers and was recognized for my contribution to the team’s strategic growth mandate. During my internship, I also gained an appreciation for the power of mentorship and saw tremendous value in research and business analytics.
