I am a dedicated individual with a passion for advancing effective public health initiatives through education and awareness while making them more accessible to populations. I am a graduate from Temple University with a Masters of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Science and a Bachelors of Science in Public Health. My diverse work experience has enhanced my ability to communicate effectively under pressure, manage multiple tasks with attention to detail, and collaborate with individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
I also thrive in a team setting but also feel confident accomplishing tasks independently while still keeping open communication with all involved departments. In addition to my public health experience, I have created and managed social media content to raise awareness about key health issues, engage communities in meaningful conversations, and promote public health initiatives. I am particularly interested in promoting health equity by working to reduce disparities in healthcare access and outcomes and am eager to use my skills in research, community engagement, and data collection to make a meaningful impact in the field of public health advocacy.
I completed multiple academic internships while finishing my degrees. I assisted an integrative health program called BE-WEHL at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. During my time there I organized focus groups to evaluate program efficacy and gather feedback, created health promotion materials to raise awareness about program activities, and conducted a literature review, logic model, and an evaluation plan to assess program effectiveness.
During my time with the Collage of Public Health as a program intern I coordinated the "Where Are They Now" program, showcasing BSPH alumni careers and assisted with Experience Temple days by participating in student panels and engaging prospective students. I also organized an outreach event between the BSPH program and a local harm reduction nonprofit.
I also have multiple years of experience working as an administrative office assistant in both medical and nonmedical settings. My responsibilities included providing front-line support such as verifying insurance, managing appointments, coordinating referrals and follow-up care, and educating patients on the COVID-19 vaccine.
I graduated from Temple University in the Spring of 2023 with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health and again in the Spring of 2024 with Masters of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Science.
