My name is Jackie. I am 29 years old. I have moved back to cape coral after the death of my father this year and am looking for a full time job as a cook. I can run saute, grill, fry, steamers, and expedite. Right now I am looking for a daytime job prepping because I have a 3 year old baby girl, but I can work most week nights.
I have been cooking in kitchens since I was 16 years old. I started out in a bakery doing an internship, and slowly worked my way up to big kitchens. I was the saute sous chef at cape caberet for a year, I did very well there.
I would come in and prep everything, home made marinara, bolognese, alfredo, scampi, coipino, carbonara, scampi, and sear all of my ossobuco.Prep all pastas to eldente bag them up for service. During service I would do all of the saute dishes including scampis, ossobuccos, salmon dishes, other seafood dishes, and all of the pasta dishes. I also worked at the oytser bar for a long time helped them open it up, created dishes such as fish fryday, oysters rockefeller, casino, louisianna, fried shrimp, afredo, saute, burgers, chicken sandwiches.
I also have experience with breakfast, i am currently looking for a daytime job with breakfast but a job is a job.
I catch on very quickly. I have my safe serv license, I have a lot of experience in kitchens 11 years to be exact. I can cook anything, if I have never cooked it before just give me directions on how its made and how its supposed to look and it will come out that way everytime.
