Jason Tucker

I've always had a love for computers and how they work, from hardware to software. Through my coursework at College of Eastern Idaho, I have learned to install and maintain hardware and software, design, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, and manage and maintain remote computing environments. I have also installed and operated network devices and have completed Comp TIA A+ Certification in hardware and Comp TIA Security+ Certification.

I want to continue gaining knowledge and experience in this field and use my skills to help others.

Through my internship this year at Firth High School, I worked with the technology director and assistant director. I repaired and replaced computer parts and monitored high school security systems and the content students viewed. I look forward to gaining more knowledge and experience in this field and want to further improve my skills.

I recently graduated from the College of Eastern Idaho (May 2025) with an Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Information Assurance and Cyber Security. This degree combines coursework from the traditional Information Technology Services (ITS) program and specialized coursework to prepare me for a position as an entry-level Security Analyst.
