Hello! My name is Trevor Claus-Wheeler. Having recently graduated from UCSC with a Bachelors in Anthropology I am interested in applying course learned skills in data collection and analysis, culturally informed interpersonal communication and expert writing and public speaking skills to pursue a career in the world of community health and support.
I am passionate about helping others achieve their potential and offering my services to support them in their endeavors and struggles.
I started off working at Tokyo Fish Market, a Japanese grocery store in Berkeley, for six years and at Inn Kensington, a Breakfast restaurant in North Berkeley for two years while earning my bachelors at Berkeley City College and later at UCSC.
After graduating with a degree in Anthropology, I worked as an event coordinator for 4 months at Paradise Assisted Living in Santa Cruz, California.
While at Tokyo Fish Market and Inn Kensington I honed my skills in customer service, interpersonal communication and salesmanship while immersing myself culturally in the experiences of coworkers and customers alike. At Paradise Assisted Living I discovered a passion for helping other people and understanding, through being privy to their stories and struggles, their needs and helping provide for them the best I can.
I have graduated with a Bachelors in Anthropology at The University of California, Santa Cruz.
Receiving expert training in both coursework and independent studies in both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, culturally informed interpersonal communication and skills in writing and public speaking.
