I have worked in healthcare for the past 21 years as a Registered Nurse performing patient care in the inpatient setting. Over 20 years I have worked with individuals in every demographic and cohort, and specifically with ICU, emergency and general medical and surgical patients. Over the years my career goals changed and I realized that what I loved most about my job listening, learning and forming ap rapport with my patients.
I have an active and unencumbered Idaho Nursing license and am certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
I worked as an RN in an adult ICU and emergency room at the University of Iowa Hospital from 2004-2017.
I worked as an RN at Ferry County Memorial Hospital (the smallest and most remote hospital in the state) from 2018-2020.
I worked at St Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise during 2024.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology with a Minor in Native American History and Policy and graduated with these from the University of Iowa in 2000
I have a Master of Nursing and Healthcare Practice from the University of Iowa College of Nursing with graduation in 2004.
