Joanna Guo

I have a deep passion for teaching piano and introducing the world of music to young children. My musical journey began at the age of 6 and later gained admission to the International Program at South China Normal University when I turned 18. In 2016, I successfully attained my B.A. degree in Music from Cal State East Bay.

Building upon my foundation, I further pursued a M.A. in Music with a specialization in piano performance at the same esteemed institution. Throughout my academic journey I have been exposed to a diverse range of teaching methods, enriching my knowledge and skills. I take immense pleasure in the art of teaching piano fundamentals and creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment for every student I work with.

Apart from English, I am fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese, which enables me to accommodate a diverse range of students. Piano lessons are open to students of all proficiency levels, ranging from beginners to advanced. I have significant expertise guiding students for numerous recitals and comprehensive examinations, including MTAC's Certificate of Merit and ABRSM.
