Jodi Fultz

I am a recent graduate from JMU with my BIS in Early Childhood Education. For the last 4 years I have been working at Redbud Run Elementary School in Winchester, Virginia serving as a VALLS Instructional Assistant, Title I Instructional Assistant and currently a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant. Before this I was working as an assistant teacher for First Presbyterian Weekday School, which is also located in Winchester, VA.

Before then I had been a substitute teacher for Frederick County Public Schools in Winchester when my youngest daughter entered the public school system. During my time at First Presbyterian Weekday School I learned about Conscious Discipline and have gained insight on different strategies to work with children of all age levels by using this method taught by Dr.

Becky

Bailey. I am welcome to any training or classes to help me expand my knowledge of teaching. I am also willing to expand my career field to new opportunities outside of a classroom for future employment.

• Provide instructional and behavioral support in classrooms as determined by the building administrator and the teacher.
• Assist with emergency procedures and protocol.
• Supervise students in social and developmental activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction for students as needed.
• Implement lessons or programs as directed. 
• Assist with age-appropriate individual and group experiences to support learning in all content areas.
• Support smooth transitions and consistency in routines while meeting varying individual student needs. 
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, and administration. 
• Work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. 
• Participate in professional development.
• Complete other duties as assigned through the immediate supervisor. 

Attended James Madison University from 2023-2025 with a 3.72 GPA graduating Magna Cum Laude with my BIS in Early Childhood Education.
