Hi! Aloha! My name is Kalia Leinani Brianne Medeiros. I was born and raised in Kane’ohe, Hawai'i to parents of both native and missionary ancestry.

I’m a determined and hard-working person with a hunger to learn, deepen my understanding of the world, creatively solve problems, and push boundaries. I have 10+ years experience in live theatre performance and production, 5 years experience in Marketing and Consulting, and a lifelong dedication to community outreach, volunteering, and Arts accessibility. I have a BFA from the University of Michigan.

I love TikTok, singing, a good HBO show, trying new foods, a good Drag Show, and my 2 year old Boston Terrier named Jamón. I’m extremely passionate about inclusion, and the artful execution of everyday tasks. I possess a natural ease with people, bright and encouraging energy, and unapologetic enthusiasm when tackling new projects.

I take pains to accomplish even the smallest tasks with great care. I thrive in collaborative settings, while maintaining the confidence and clarity to push my best ideas forward. I stay organized, and often create newer, more efficient SOPs for the companies I work with.

A serious advocate for women’s empowerment, intersectional feminism, indigenous rights, and gender equality. I look forward to challenging archaic systems in my work, and pushing boundaries of representation. I believe in the ever-changing world of social media and the digital landscape, you have to think quick on your feet and know who you are and what you stand for, regardless of trends.

When visiting home in Hawai’i, I seek to meld my NYC experiences with the richness of my island upbringing. Apart from growing up in Hawai’i, I am also ⅛ Native Hawaiian blood. As a pale skinned, red-haired person, there has always been a struggle with this identity and mixed background.

But I have great pride in sharing my island stories and culture with anyone I meet, I'm fiercely loyal to my brilliant and talented friends, and feel my uncommon heritage gives me a unique perspective I can bring to any team.
