New to the area I come with 25 years experience in patient care ranging from acute, longterm, Brain Injury, and Rehabilitation. My hobbies include making jewelry, attending a monthly book club and active member in a local church. Post pandemic, I currently make prosthetic sockets for amputees but greatly want to get back into rehab.
Most recently I have been making lower extremity test sockets for prosthetic legs.
Before the pandemic, I was a rehab tech in an acute hospital for 5 years. Previously was working in a Brain injury home for 7 years doing the same for 7 years with my CBIS Certification.
Prior to that, I worked in LTC as a rehab tech in sub acute rehab and patient care under my CENA certification.
I attended Baker College of Muskegon and took courses toward my PTA licence including A&P I &II, Pathophysiology, Medical Records, Medical Terminology and Kinesiology.
