I am a dedicated criminal justice professional with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a strong commitment to serving my community. As a member of the Army National Guard, I have developed discipline, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure—skills that have prepared me to work effectively in challenging environments. My passion lies in helping incarcerated individuals and their families by providing resources, support, and programs that promote rehabilitation and positive change.
I believe that with the right guidance and opportunities, people can rebuild their lives, and I am committed to being part of that process. Whether through structured programming, mentorship, or advocacy, my goal is to make a meaningful impact—helping individuals break cycles of incarceration and ultimately contributing to a safer, stronger community.
I have a strong background in criminal justice, public service, and legal research, supported by a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Criminal Justice. My experience includes interning at a law firm for two separate years, where I gained hands-on exposure to the legal system, case research, and client interactions. Additionally, I had the opportunity to intern in the Virginia House of Delegates, where I learned about legislative processes, policy development, and the intersection of law and governance.
Alongside my academic and legal experience, I proudly serve in the Army National Guard, where I have developed leadership, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. My diverse experiences in law, government, and military service have strengthened my ability to navigate complex situations, communicate effectively, and remain committed to public service. I am passionate about applying my skills to criminal justice reform, rehabilitation programs, and initiatives that create meaningful change for individuals and communities.
My Master’s degree in Criminal Justice has given me a deep understanding of the juvenile justice system, rehabilitation strategies, and evidence-based interventions that can help young offenders get back on the right path. Through my studies, I have gained insight into the root causes of delinquency, including family dynamics, socioeconomic factors, trauma, and mental health challenges. This knowledge will allow me to approach juvenile probation counseling with both empathy and effectiveness, ensuring that I provide the right balance of accountability and support to help youth make meaningful changes in their lives.
Additionally, my coursework has equipped me with the skills to assess risk factors, develop individualized rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with social workers, educators, and community organizations. I understand the importance of early intervention, mentorship, and structured guidance in reducing recidivism and giving young people the opportunity to succeed. My goal is to not only ensure compliance with probation requirements but also to empower juveniles with the tools they need to make better choices, strengthen family relationships, and build a brighter future.
With my background in criminal justice, legal experience, and military discipline, I am confident in my ability to work effectively with at-risk youth, provide structured support, and make a lasting impact on their lives and the community
