Laura Derocher

I’ve worked for the last 8 years as a certified pharmacy technician. I have experience working both in an inpatient medical hospital as well as working in an inpatient mental health facility. I love my job and it’s something I am extremely passionate about.

I love being able to work with doctors, nurses, as well as interacting with patients to make sure they get the best possible care. I have extensive experience with compounding IV medications as well as working with both Pyxis as well as Omnicell.

I have worked for the past eight years as a certified pharmacy technician. The first four years were in an inpatient medical hospital and in 2022 I made the decision to switch to working in an inpatient mental health facility.

I have been a certified pharmacy technician for eight years, but am currently half way through to becoming an advanced certified pharmacy technician.
