I have been passionate about early. childhood education for almost 30 years.I received an M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction with a focus on elementary education from Howard University in 1993 and started my career teaching first grade in Maryland, USA. Since then I have taught ages 3-8 in Washington, DC, California, the Philippines, Ethiopia and most recently Texas. I have worked in IB schools delivering the Primary Years Program and have found success with gifted and special needs students alike.
My certification is from the State of California and I acquired a TOSEL as well. My passion is teaching reading and early literacy skills. My broad experiences around the world would be an asset to any classroom.
