About

I am a current online MSW student at UMD School of Social Work, working part-time as I complete my final year. I have past experience as a paralegal, high school social studies teacher, summer camp counselor, and executive function coach. My goal is to work in counseling and treatment for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) after graduation, and I am currently a part of BHWISE Substance Use Disorder Intervention Fellowship (SUDIF) at UMD.

I am seeking seasonal summer work and part-time work that can fit around my class schedule and social work internship, which will take place 3 days during the week beginning in the fall. I have extensive experience working with children, completing office administration tasks, and continue to maintain my teaching license in Virginia and Maryland.

Adult Bereavement Intern at CaringMatters (2025-09 – Present)

Complete client intakes, co-facilitate peer grief support groups, and provide follow-up calls to offer alternative resources for clients outside of organizational service area.
Assist with administrative tasks and volunteer to support organization events or fundraisers.

Part-Time Substitute Teacher at Montgomery County Public Schools and Washington D.C. Public Schools (2024-01 – Present)

Implement provided lessons and manage classrooms of 20-30 students during instructor absence.

Associate Executive Function Coach at Narrative Shift Coaching and Therapy (2024-09 – 2025-06)

Engaged in one-on-one coaching sessions with neurodivergent adolescents and young adults to teach strategies for organization, impulse control, time management, and other skills related to executive function.
