Mackenzie Wilson

I am a community organizer and a social change analyst. I have a background in abolition and have experience with organizational development and program creation. I can offer a range of trainings from team building and facilitation to organizing 101 and de-escalation.

I have extensive expertise in community engagement and campaign planning/implementation and grassroots community work that fosters leadership development. I have stood on the front lines of housing, racial justice, prison abolition, and more.

I have helped co-found and run many grassroots organizations in Sacramento. I helped start the Sacramento Tenants Union, the Sacramento Justice League, Decarcerate Sacramento, and more. I have been studying social change for a decade and have used it to stay relevant in the current struggle of the working class and our most marginalized community members.

In the age of credentialism, the best thing I can do is offer hands on, on the ground experience for over a decade.
