Currently, I work as an advocate for victims and witnesses of crime. I provide services to approximately 75 new clients of various victimization types per quarter. Usually handling anywhere from 50-100 active clients at a time.
Case management, intercession, crisis counseling , court accompaniment, victim education, quarterly reporting, and ensuring the rights afforded to victims/witnesses through the VA Bill of Rights are protected are a few of my main duties. In order to hold my current position I must comply with VA Code and be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. My past duties have included data entry, emergency response, record retention, transportation/logistics, telecommunications, and supervision.
