Experienced Convenience Store Manager

I'm a 65-year-young man who's a veteran of the convenience store/retail store/customer service wars - I currently work in Indianapolis as a Store Co-Manager for Speedway/7-11 Corporation. I've been with this company for nine months, can see its direction and plans for the future, and also see the competition they face here. I'm wanting to belong to a quality organization that has a bright future, and I'm a Pittsburgh boy who's known Giant Eagle all his life. So, I hope you'll consider me for this position with GetGo. I have 20+ years of retail and retail management experience, 7 years of DSD delivery experience (Interstate Brands in the 90's, Wonder Bread and Hostess Cake) up to a Regional Sales Management position, and customer service experience in every job I've held since I was 16. I know how to walk the delicate line between “the customer is always right” and the bottom line of running a profitable location. I know planograms and sets, managing labor $, inventory control including managing turns, rotating product, etc. I hope to talk with you soon.
Besides Interstate Brands and 7-11 Corp, I have 7 years of retail sales and management with The Appliance Store (a Pittsburgh-based company in the 1980's), 11 years of experience in advertising sales with AT&T Corporation (Yellow Pages), and 10 years of direct sales and running my own business in suburban Atlanta, a painting and drywall company. All of these involved various but different levels and means of customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and developing relationships.
I have a high school diploma from Fairview (PA) High School in 1977, and three years of college in the Penn State University system with a GPA of 3.3.
