I'm a single mom of a terrific 3-year-old son, Carter. I have always enjoyed working with children and have done so all of my adult life. I realized I wanted to work with children at a young age. I've watched my paraeducators help me and others and I wanted to be just like them one day. I believe serving our children, their families, and the community is a great honor. It would be amazing to work within the Spotsylvania County School system where I grew up.

I have worked 15 plus years as an early childcare provider. I have worked as the lead preschool teacher of 16 two-year-olds with one other co teacher at Cadence Academy in Fredericksburg since August 2021 prior to that I worked at Minnieland from May of 2018 to August of 2021. I did take off in 2020 for a year to be at home with my son. I was a co teacher for infant room of 12 babies with two other teachers and the gym classroom with 16 three-year-olds with one other teacher at Fredericksburg Children's Academy. (Now called Cadence Academy) May of 2016 to May of 2018. From 2013 to 2016, I worked at different local daycare centers for short periods of time while taking colleges classes. From September 2011 to May of 2013, I worked as a Camp Counselor for children ages 7 to 18 at Watermarks Camp in Scottsville, VA.
