• Relaying shift information and updates to the next shift agents-communicating with other departments-such as Housekeeping for all guest requests either through chats-phone or in person
• Contacting Maintenance-Kitchen-Restaurant-Banquets-Sells Department-Security-Front Offices-Etc-when needed
• Answering all General Guest Questions
• Upgrading Room Types
• Promoting Brand Enrollments-Upselling and Upgrading Room Types
• Modifying Guest Reservations either before guest arrival and/or during the check-in process
• Verifying Guest Identification-and Reservations-answering-all concierge questions
• Making Keys through the key encoder
• Walking guests to the rooms when the system is down-from the information provided-from the Contingency Report-that's generated before the shift-starts and during any bad weather or software updates
• Walk-in Reservations
• Multi-tasking
