About

Seeking a position with a stable, growing company in warehouse operations or front counter service. I have 40 years of leadership experience. I am looking to step down from management to work in a more operation-oriented role.

I bring a wealth of knowledge in planning, procedures, training and safety. I have set up new warehouses and built large teams. The people who have worked for me will always say I was hands on, safe and willing to do anything to get the job done properly and safely in a professional manner.

Experience

Warehouse, transportation and inventory manager - Ascend Staging and Design / Elevation Hauling

(2025-06 - 2026-06)

Small real estate staging company, Hired as the first full-time employee. Ascend was purchased by two people with the idea of creating a much larger operation.

  • Created the warehouse picking system
  • Created the warehouse inventory system
  • Built from the ground up Elevation Hauling, this is a subsidiary of Ascend staging. As to deliver products to our customers, we had movers before, and they would damage product and customers' property
  • Completed all DOT compliance and registration for Elevation Hauling
  • Reduced cost of delivery by 50% by taking it in-house
  • Documented all processes for anyone to be able to follow
  • Learned the computer system called Stageforce on my own. I have now trained others in the operation of Stageforce

Warehouse and distribution manager - Clearwing Productions - Arvada, CO

(2022-07 - 2024-10)

Installer of audio/visual systems for theaters, auditoriums and churches.

  • Opened the new warehouse
  • Built all the local systems and procedures
  • Built an inventory system to track the inventory. We were using Quick books and the inventory system in Quick books was not adequate for our products. Maintained cycle counts
  • Learned shipping and receiving for Clearwing, everything was sent as kits. These kits were received by serial numbers, assemblies and sub-assemblies. These were very expensive and large kits, so everything was checked for damage and quality. These kits were sent out in the field, quite often a few hundred miles away so accuracy was mandatory
  • Transportation, we had two trucks, one an F150 service truck and the other was a Kenworth non-CDL delivery truck. I was responsible for both trucks and used the delivery truck all over the state to deliver the products to the installation crews. I also returned old product for recycling
  • Learned SAP program Q360 on my own as we transitioned to this much better system. Entered all data into the Q360 system and I was used to teach others the new system as the main instructors were very busy
  • Shipping of products, LTL, FTL and package. We shipped directly to customers and between warehouses

Shipping Manager - Rasa Koffee - Boulder, CO

(2021-02 - 2022-04)

Shipping packages and boxes of high-end coffee substitute. I was recruited by a form manager at Charlottes web.

  • Build the e-commerce and small bulk shipping procedures
  • Streamlined the process to hit all metrics for the day, week and month
  • Created an inventory system to keep track of products, bulk products were stored in eastern Aurora and our warehouse was in Boulder. I maintained cycle counts for both locations every week
  • Delivered product from Aurora to Boulder
  • Hired the team

E. Commerce shipping supervisor - Charlotte's Web - Louisville, CO 80027

(2019-11 - 2021-02)

  • Built the E commerce shipping system from the ground up. We started with just a few people and grew to a crew of 40 that reported to me
  • Increased our product shipped by 1000%. We could have got better than that, but we would run out of orders to ship every day at peak production
  • Changed the entire way we picked and shipped product to increase our efficiency
  • Lead the move to our new warehouse for the shipping team, I set up all the workstations and picking paths
