Hello! I am a 2021 magna cum laude Sport Management graduate from George Mason University and the current Frame Shop Manager at Mechanicsville Hobby Lobby. My professors at GMU recognized my academic aptitude by choosing me as a finalist for the 2021 Charley Casserly Award, given to the top Sport Management student in each graduating class.
My managers at Hobby Lobby rely on my organizational aptitude to keep the Frame Shop on schedule and leave each customer satisfied. I would love the opportunity to demonstrate my commendable interpersonal skills and project management acuity for your company!
My position as the Mechanicsville Hobby Lobby frame shop manager allows me to fulfill customer orders efficiently and foster strong relationships with customers, leading to additional business for my shop. My thorough attention to detail spurred me to coordinate the introduction of new software to our shop computer and teach my employees to implement it effectively. Most importantly, my Hobby Lobby experience has fueled my passion for high quality customer service that exceeds the expectations of both the customer and supervisor.
I also believe customer service extends beyond the walls of a retail store and is vital for any type of business to thrive. I demonstrate this mindset through my Site Supervisor position with the YMCA. I interact with many different families every shift and pride myself on making the child smile and/or advancing their sport acumen.
Facing upset customers and parents is inevitable in my lines of work, but I maintain civility and supply an adequate solution to the problem each time. I am motivated to demonstrate my professionalism and problem-solving skills at your company.
