Prerna Kapur

I am an independent consultant specializing in finance, operations and accounting. I have over 15 years of experience in the non profit sector including working at the United Nations for 11 years . I have also had leadership roles in other non profits such as the Nature Conservancy and the Public Health Institute. I strive to help non profits and other organizations streamline operations and enable efficiency.

I have held progressively responsible roles in several organizations, where I helped projects with financial and operational oversight. This includes budget monitoring and analysis, revenue management, financial reporting as well as supporting teams in procurement, agreement and contract management, compliance and donor relations. I have also supervised teams for over 7 years, ensuring a results oriented approach but also providing providing the right resources and support to enable my team to do their best.

I have an undergraduate degree in Economics from Amherst College. I also have a Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University and an MSc from London School of Economics.
