I have had the privilege of interning at two prominent banks: BMO and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. At BMO, I improved client operations, achieving an 8% increase in customer acquisition targets through the BMO digital banking app. At the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, I developed a new protocol that was adopted into the bank's policies and played a key role in designing and implementing a proprietary IAM framework to mitigate risks.
Additionally, during my final semester at the University of Iowa, I was appointed as an investment analyst, managing a $58,000 investment fund initiative to optimize returns for the university.
My internships have provided extensive training in Tableau and substantial experience with Microsoft Office platforms, enhancing my practical knowledge beyond academic learning.
Furthermore, my six-month study abroad experience in Barcelona not only enhanced my linguistic proficiency in Spanish, but also instilled in me the significance of empathy in interactions and the ability to adapt my approach based on individual needs and perspectives of the people I am surrounded by.
